The COVID-19 Daintree Area Scheme provides financial assistance to those operating from off-grid premises in the Daintree community.

About this scheme

In response to the pandemic, the COVID-19 Daintree Area Scheme aims to support the Daintree community by providing financial assistance to households, small businesses and non-profit organisations operating from off-grid premises in the area.

A map of the Daintree area can be accessed here.

The scheme is now open until 30 June 2021, or until funding has been fully committed.

Payments available under this scheme are:

  • $200.00 for households
  • $500.00 for small businesses and non-profit organisations
