Jamie Nuich

Jamie, a trusted mediator and principal solicitor, excels in complex negotiations across industries, including debt negotiations in primary industries. Her experience spans over 800 mediations (acting as mediator or advisor) with an impressive 80% resolution rate in mediations she conducted, surpassing the average of 40-60%. Jamie is often consulted on the most challenging cases, where her technical legal knowledge, emotional intelligence, and ethical leadership equip her to help parties to overcome difficult impasses, to work towards sustainable resolutions. She aids in designing sustainable agreements in mediations, planning to avoid breaches, and identifying areas requiring flexibility. She also has experience in developing systems to manage over 5,000 pre-litigation mediations for a Victorian government body, enhancing the mediation process for parties at scale, both inside and outside of the mediation room. As an educator, Jamie has lectured at Monash University on Alternative Dispute Resolution strategies and has been consulted on mediation procedures by various government departments. Jamie is also quietly leading research in the use of blockchain technologies, beyond traditional legacy systems, to manage complex negotiations and mediations in the future. This work subtly underscores her ability to work with parties to anticipate and design creative solutions to complex negotiations beyond the limits of cookie cutter options.
