Angelo Rigano | Regional Area Manager

Angelo Rigano

Angelo Rigano joined QRIDA in February 2024 as the Regional Area Manager for the North Queensland region. 

Before his role at QRIDA, Angelo was the Senior Agribusiness Manager with Rural Bank in Townsville, previously holding the position of Agribusiness Development Manager. Angelo has over 35 years of banking experience, primarily in the Agribusiness sector and, as a  Townsville local, Angelo has dedicated most of his life to living and working in the North Queensland region. His extensive background includes dealings with various industries including sugar cane, cattle, horticulture, and fishing and has provided commercial finance to customers spanning from Mackay to the Cape.

Angelo is keen to meet with primary producers in the North Queensland region to provide information about the wide range of QRIDA financial assistance programs available and how to apply.

Bradley Whittington | Regional Area Manager

Bradley is your local Regional Area Manager for the Central Highlands and West.

Bradley has been a part of QRIDA regional service team since 2014. Prior to being a Regional Area Manager, he worked on a piggery at Tiaro, spent time with Elders and Queensland Cotton selling rural merchandise and spent 18 years at the Emerald Ag College training students in crop production, irrigation management and property planning and development.

Bradley is available to meet with you on farm to discuss your individual situation and to help you through the application process for our range of low interest loans. 

Brian Coe | Regional Area Manager

Brian Coe

Brian is your Regional Area Manager for South East Queensland and Lockyer Valley, covering the Scenic Rim, Gold Coast, Brisbane, Redland Bay, Ipswich, Logan, Moreton Bay, Somerset and Lockyer Valley regions. Brian has extensive experience in the rural finance industry, having joined QRIDA in 2005 as a loans officer following decades in rural property and finance roles throughout Queensland.

From supporting new entrants in the agricultural industry to supporting existing producers with on-farm developments, Brian is passionate about seeing producers improve their enterprise with new projects, technology and infrastructure to drive sustainability. Brian is available to meet on-farm to discuss how QRIDA can help you get ahead or catch him at one of the many industry events around the South East.

Cynthia Godden | Regional Area Manager

Cynthia Godden

Cynthia, or Cindy, is the QRIDA boots on the ground in the Burnett, covering Gympie, Sunshine Coast and North and South Burnett. She has a strong history in regional finance, having studied a Bachelor of Commerce, a Diploma of Agriculture and Business Management and is currently studying a Diploma of Agronomy.

Previous to her role at QRIDA, Cindy worked extensively in accounting roles in regional Queensland. Cindy was born and raised on the Sunshine Coast and spent school holidays on the Darling Downs on a beef, sheep and grain property, with weekends away competing horses or up Noosa North Shore fishing. These days she spends her free time with her family on a lucerne and beef farm in the South Burnett – a region she knows and loves.

John Metelli | Regional Area Manager

John Metelli

John is your Regional Area Manager for Capricornia. Based in the Queensland beef capital of Rockhampton, John has over 25 years of experience working in the finance and banking industry, 12 of which were spent in agribusiness relationship banking.

Despite being known as the beef capital, John says that the region has so much more potential including small crops, aquaculture, permaculture, poultry and broadacre cropping.

John is available to meet with you on farm to discuss your individual situation and help you through the application process for our range of low interest loans.

Kate Dunk

Kate hails from a diverse history of working in the rural industry.

Growing up on a mixed farming operation on the inner Darling Downs she completed an agriculture business degree at UQ and has since spent most of her working life in rural finance working across most of southern and western Queensland.

Kate’s journey with QRIDA started in 2002 when she was the newly appointed Regional Area Manager in the Roma office before moving to Toowoomba in 2007 where she is still based.

Her close to 19 years’ experience with the organisation has given her the ability to identify and empathise with potential applicants and provide the required level of assistance to ensure they have the greatest chance of success.

Mark Barrett | Regional Area Manager

Mark Barrett

Mark grew up in the rural community of Lockyer Valley. His career has seen him spend eight out of 13 years at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia in commercial and agribusiness lending before joining QRIDA’s regional service team in 2008.

Based in Bundaberg, Mark’s region primarily covers sugar cane, horticulture and tree crops, aquaculture, cattle and hay production. Mark is a passionate and knowledgeable advocate for the Bundaberg region and its contribution to Queensland agriculture.

Sam Fryer | Regional Area Manager

Sam is your Regional Area Manager for the North West and Gulf, covering Hughenden, Cloncurry, Winton, the Gulf, Mt Isa and everywhere in between. 

Sam comes to QRIDA with a wealth of knowledge of Australia's beef industries including the Gulf of Australia, Northern Territory and Southern Queensland. Sam grew up on a family beef property in North Queensland and understands the region's adversities, seasons and conditions. 

In addition to completing his Bachelor of Agribusiness at UNE majoring in marketing and management, Sam has also been involved in many educational and leadership programs including the pilot Advancing Beef Leader program, Queensland finalist of the NAB and CCA Rising Champions Initiative.

Sam Spina has been working as QRIDA’s Regional Area Manager in Far North Queensland for more than 20 years. Sam has had a diverse career working in the finance and rural industries, having worked as a finance lender for the Commonwealth Bank, managing a farm machinery dealership and growing and harvesting sugarcane with his brother. Sam enjoys getting out to meet local producers within his region to help them achieve their primary production goals.

Tegan McBride

Tegan McBride commenced as QRIDA’s Regional Area Manager for the Central Coast and Whitsundays region in September 2022.

Tegan comes to QRIDA with a diverse background, having completed a Bachelor of Business, with experience in regional development and farm practice change. Most recently, Tegan worked with a not-for-profit organisation based in Mackay, assisting business mentoring, business management including financial analysis, planning and strategy, as well as marketing and communications.

Tegan has previously worked with Reef Catchment on sustainable agricultural projects in and around the Mackay region and has also held positions with the Queensland Legislative Assembly and the Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovation.

Tegan looks forward to assisting and meeting with people in the Central Coast and Whitsundays region to provide information about the assistance available from QRIDA and how to apply.

Terry Pulsford

Terry Pulsford is the Regional Area Manager for the Maranoa and South West region.

With over 30 years of experience in the banking industry, the majority within rural communities, Terry has held senior agribusiness roles with various financial institutions.

Terry has called Roma home for the past 11 years and in this time has built strong relationships with local primary producers and the community.

Terry is available to visit you on farm to talk about your individual situation and help with the application process as well as provide information on our range of low interest loans and grants.
